Acoustic Gathering is a free acoustic festival held in Peasholm Park, Scarborough (North Yorkshire) on Sunday 13th September, returning for its fourth year.
The event runs from midday to 10.30pm. Over 20 acts will feature on the bill which will see some returning old favourites as well as showcasing a nationwide wealth of talented singer songwriters performing in front of as many as 2000 music lovers.
Eliza Carthy will headline Acoustic Gathering, the full line-up is Jesse Hutchinson, Louis Barabbas, Pepperland, Carl Woodford, Ashley Hicklin, Ali & the Beachcombers, Amaya Huntly, Darren Cooke & Danny Albon, Alastair James, The Pieces, Goat Problems,
Harriet Frank, John Watton, Luke Keegan, Billy Neilsen, Rachel Kraft, Craig Blair, Tom Davenport, Matt Dunn, Loveday Fools, and Paint The Silence.
The acoustic acts will be performing from the bandstand on the lake under the towering gaze of the gloriously rebuilt pagoda.
All facilities are on site including catering, bar, toilets, festival stalls, kids entertainment area, & as the dusk falls, projections will illuminate the stage, lake and island waterfall.
There will be plenty of room for families, lots of space to relax and disabled access. Pus there will be performances by Scarborough's champion cheerleaders 'East Coast Tigers' and 'Kevin O'Connor Irish Dancers'.
