The new home of traditional metal rock music, with exclusive performances, and three stages.

The 10th anniversary of Bloodstock Open Air festival will take place from Friday 13th until Sunday 15th August at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire. The aim is to offer a traditional metal event comparable to those regularly seen in Europe (but on a smaller scale of 6,000-10,000 capacity), and capturing the spirit of the original Monsters Of Rock shows which used to take place at Castle Donington during the 1980's and 1990's.

Line-up

Acts confirmed for 2010 include headliners Opeth, Twisted Sister, Children Of Bodom, plus Fear Factory, GWAR, Gojira, Sonata Arctica, Bloodbath, Gorgoroth, Leaves Eyes, Korpiklaani, Obituary, Suffocation, Black Spiders, and more. Bloodstock provides a full line-up of established and unsigned metal bands. For the line-up details, day and stage splits, please click here.

Facilities

As well as the international heavy metal bands across three stages, Bloodstock offers a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.
