Muse confirm themselves for Glastonbury Festivalplaying as Saturday headliners?Friday 12th February 2010 The BBC have revealed that Muse have now confirmed themselves as Saturday headliners for Glastonbury Festival.
The article says that, "Stadium rockers Muse will top the bill on the main Pyramid Stage on Saturday 26 June, with Motown legend (Stevie) Wonder closing the event the following night." Muse last headlined the event in 2004 and singer Matt Bellamy told BBC News the event was "very special". "When you go out to the countryside and look at some cows and breathe in some fresh air and watch some good music, I think everyone connects with something which has been missing from city life," he said. There has still been no official confirmation from Glastonbury Festival about the headliners for this summer's event. Tickets have sold out for this year's Glastonbury Festival which runs for five full days from Wednesday 23rd until Sunday 27th June 2010 across over a 1,000 acres of beautiful countryside at Worthy Farm, Somerset. eFestivals believes the next sale of tickets will be sometime from the beginning of March, we will of course keep you updated of any news in the meantime.
